Meet the Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer
In Ohio, the Treasurer is an executive leader hired directly by the Board of Education. Serving as the district's Chief Financial Officer and Public Records Officer, I work alongside the Superintendent to ensure the financial engine that drives student opportunity runs transparently and efficiently.
My commitment to public education runs deep—I’ve been working in public schools since I was 15. My professional leadership journey began in 2005 as the Aquatic Director for the Hubbard Exempted Village School District, where I discovered a passion for operational finance by leading the facility to its first profit in over 40 years.
Inspired to scale that impact, I became the Treasurer/CFO for the Brookfield Local School District in 2017. Through rigorous budgetary management, we successfully navigated the district out of a four-year Fiscal Emergency in just 10 months.
It has been a profound honor to bring that same strategic vision to BBHCSD since 2020. Taking the helm right before the COVID-19 pandemic, I partnered with district leadership to navigate the unprecedented financial complexities of those years and keep our district strong.
Today, I oversee the vital functions that keep BBHCSD moving forward, including:
-
Financial Forecasting & Budgetary Management
-
Grants Management & Strategic Investing
-
Payroll, Benefits & Human Capital Finance
-
Daily Operations (Accounts Payable/Receivable & Student Activities)
Behind every great classroom is a solid financial foundation, and I am dedicated to protecting and optimizing our resources for the success of every student.
